Update from Nursery.

It has been a very busy start to the New Year in Nursery. We began our new unit “Start with a story…….” The children wrote their own holiday news book and have enjoyed looking at it. They have been reading lots of books about dinosaurs and this week have made a non-fiction book about dinosaurs. The children have been thinking about their daddies and have drawn some lovely pictures of him.

In the kitchen they made some delicious dinosaur eggs (from rice crispies) and have made some dinosaurs from sticking green fruit and vegetables together!

In maths the children have been doing some great counting by rolling the dice and find the correct number of objects.

We looked at our Golden Rules and reminded ourselves about how we can earn lots of Golden Gems to make our treasure chest full!

We also had some visitors this week, Miss Owens, Ms. Lebihan, Mr. Hughes and Mr. Allman came to read their favourite stories to us this week.

Finally we ended the week with a colour day…….we enjoyed lots of black and white activities and the children looked amazing!
