U15 FOBISIA Team Updates from Kuala Lumpur - Day 2

20 November 2015

  • FOBISIA logo web

Update at 8:40am

Coaches report our students are a little tired but ready to go today for athletics and swimming. Yesterday all of them enjoyed some time in the pool (outside) which I am sure we can all appreciate with the weather we have been having, before going to the Opening Ceremony/Gala Dinner at night.

Message from Mr. Cobley, is that the Wi-Fi at the hotel is unreliable, and no Wi-Fi whatsoever at the school. He will try when and if available to send through some pictures but at the moment we are updating by text.

Lastly, normally the host school has a website which tracks results/pictures but nothing has been sent through, I will ask the host again if they have come up with anything or maybe we can find this on their website. Will have a look later today as the athletics/swimming gets underway.

Update at 2pm

The Athletics has just finished and BSB finished 5th Overall. Will try to get a total medal tally when I can get a hold of them. Swimming has just started. The kids are saying how hot it is with the heat and humidity being quite different than Beijing but overall having a great time.

Update at 6pm

Final results from today, Swimming finish 5th Overall. In Athletics: 2 Gold, 7 Silver, & 8 Bronze Medals won. In Swimming: 1 Gold, 3 Silver, & 6 Bronze Medals won.

The team is taking some down time, enjoying the pool, dinner tonight and then early lights out for another long day tomorrow.
