The Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) department organized a trip to one of the best Spanish restaurants in Beijing, “El Carmen”.
Our students met the chef, Alberto Becerril, whose previous restaurant in Spain owns a Michelin star.
The students had the chance of enjoying a taste of Spanish food: Spanish omelette, ham croquettes, prawn croquettes, “ensaladilla rusa”, “tapas”, “paella”…
And the chef amazed us with a great “sangria”, a typical Spanish beverage. However, he made a special non-alcoholic Sangria for us!
