Topic of the month: Chinese New Year Traditions
Chinese New Year is the most important festival in China. A lot of traditions surround this great festival, starting more than a week before the festival with honouring the kitchen god and ending three weeks later with the Lantern Festival. What do people eat, why don't they go to the hair dresser, why is the colour red and all the noise so important during these days? We will tell you all about it!
Speaker: Presented by China Inside & Mingbai.
Monique Groeneveld is a historian and owner of language school China Inside.
