Year 7 Interactive Book Trailers

10 December 2015

  • Yr 7 Book trailers
  • Wonder by R.J. Palacio
  • The Girl who was suppposed to die

Students in Mr Cairns’ English class were asked to create a book-trailer for their favourite novels. Typically, we would associate trailers with Hollywood Blockbusters; whereas the Year 7 class decided to take an interactive and modern direction with their presentations.

The book trailers, which will be showcased within the English classrooms and the library, will offer prospective readers with an insight into novels which may not have been accessible in the past. Using the latest technology, students will be able to scan a QR code for the book trailers and access them from anywhere. Therefore ensuring the students’ work can be safely accessed from anywhere.

Please see 2 book trailers in the above gallery:

"Wonder by R.J. Palacio"

"The Girl who was supposed to die"
