  • y7 volcanoes

During a Year 7 unit of work on Volcanoes, students had the opportunity to build a model volcano as part of a house competition or complete any piece of work, in any format, as part of a ‘be the best you can be’ homework.

Congratulations to the Winners -

1st -Sedric Lin 7C (Romans)

2nd -A joint effort by Zoe Beckett (Saxons) and Alexa Hagenson-Doull 7E (Saxons)

3rd -Minjeo Jeon 7E (Vikings) for an exceptional project

4th -Marguerite Besse 7D (Romans)

The entries were extremely varied, from artwork to leaflets, models to projects, displaying that students had committed a lot of effort and dedication to being ‘the best they can be’.

Students then had the opportunity to watch their volcanoes come to life with an eruption, by our wonderful Science teachers, Mrs Hemming and Mrs Davenport.
