This is what is happening this week  in BSB Sport:

BSB will be hosting the ACAMIS Soccer Championships later this week starting Thursday 16th and finishing Saturday 18th.  Apologies for any disturbances and again greatly appreciative of all of your help and support once again. Any questions do let me know. 

Some things to highlight for ACAMIS, BSB this year will be entering 2 girls teams. All three of our teams will be playing on Friday 17th from 1230-1330. The Boys play vs. ISNS and the girls play each other. Do come out and support our teams if you have time over the lunch period.

Lastly, there will be an ACAMIS Disco open to all BSB Y9-13 students held on Saturday night 18th April. Admission is free with transport for downtown students. Starts at 7:30-10:00PM. Posters will be going up today/tomorrow with more details to advertise the event. Do pass this on to students in secondary (Y9-13). 

Monday: U19 Boys/Girls Football Varsity vs. DCB, Boys @DCB (Bus departs BSB at 1540) & Girls @BSB at 1615, Secondary swimming continues training (Transport: Secondary Late Bus), U14/U13/U12 basketball (Boys/Girls) training continues (Gym: Girls & Dome: Boys); Primary FOBISIA continues training: Swimming (Transport: Primary FOBISIA bus at 5PM);

Tuesday: Primary/Secondary swimming continues training (Transport: Secondary Late Bus/Primary ASA bus), Primary Sport training continues: U11/10/9 T-Ball, Primary FOBISIA continues training: T-Ball (Transport: ASA bus);

Wednesday: Primary/Secondary AM swim training continues @7AM-8AM (student organized transport), U19 Boys/Girls football continues training;

Thursday: U19 ACAMIS Gold Division Soccer Championships: Round 1 Matches at 1500/1600/1700 (Boys Pitch 1 & Girls Pitch 2), U14/U13/U12 basketball (Boys/Girls) NO Training due to ACAMIS, Primary/Secondary swimming continues training (Transport: Secondary Late Bus/Primary ASA bus); Primary FOBISIA training continues: Football in Gym/Dome (Transport: ASA bus);

Friday:  Primary/Secondary AM swim training continues @7AM-8AM (student organized transport), U19 ACAMIS Gold Division Soccer Championships: Round 2 Matches at 0900/1000/1100, Round 3 Matches at 1230/1330/1430, Round 4 Matches at 1530/1630/1730 (Boys Pitch 1 & Girls Pitch 2), Primary FOBISIA training continues: Athletics (NTA) (Transport: Primary FOBISIA bus at 5PM);

Saturday: U19 ACAMIS Gold Division Soccer Championships: Round 5 Matches at 0900/1000/1100 (Boys Pitch 1 & Girls Pitch 2), Playoffs start 1230, with the Championship Matches at 1630, ACAMIS Gala Dinner and Disco to start at 1930.

Reminders/Notices:

  1. Primary FOBISIA Team will be departing BSB for Penang, Malaysia on Monday 1st June and returning back to Beijing on Saturday 6th June 2015 for the Games. 
  2. BSB will be hosting the U19 ACAMIS Soccer Championships starting on Thursday 16th April & Finishing on Saturday 18th April 2015. STUDENTS WILL BE OFF TIMETABLE STARTING THURSDAY 16th April LUNCHTIME & PERIOD 5/6 (PERIOD 1-4 PER NORMAL ON THU) & ALL DAY FRIDAY 17th April. 
  3. Also note the following Y10 PE GCSE (NO Y11 PE GCSE STUDENTS) students will be acting as “Student Helpers” throughout the ACAMIS tournament. Anyone interested to play sport this academic year needs to register to do so even if they will be playing in Season 4. “Student Athlete Registration Forms” can be picked up outside the Sports Office (C208). Secondary/Primary Season 3 Sport registration is still OPEN. Aquabear Try-Outs are open all year please email alasdair.armstrong@britishschool.org.cn directly to try-out.
