Weekly Sports Update

20 April 2015

Dear All,

All U19 sport is now finished with the end of ACAMIS this past weekend. The boys dominated the tournament with a goal ratio of 53/1 winning their third ACAMIS Football Championship in a row. Girls lost in the final 2-1 with penalties deciding it in the same fashion as last year. The biggest highlight was our BSB JV girls team (mostly Y9 students) which after Round Robin play finished 4th and lost a very close match to the eventual winners HIS 1-0 in the semi-finals. Overall a great weekend of football for BSB. Teams are wearing their Kit/ACAMIS T-Shirts today.

Can I just thank everyone again for all of their help in putting on this event (PE Department & Y10 Student Helpers in particular: Thalia Wareing 10A, Richard Melander 10A, Ethan Romero 10A, Leonard Besse 10B, Lohia Taunakeki 10B, Jio Valdez 10B, Daniel Vereshchagin 10C) as well as those who helped for the ACAMIS social  events in the evening on Saturday (David Mounter, Nick Bourne, Michael Pinnock, Steve Lewis, Peter Carlisle, & all the CAS students).

The ACAMIS teams and BSB students really appreciated everything.
