Over the past year the staff football team has fought many heroic battles (often against each other on Tuesday nights in lieu of other opponents). The year ended in a double-ended tie between the staff and the parents.
With 13 year old Wunderkid Warren Eben in goal, and in their lucky Argentinian shirts (thank you Mr Cairns!), the teachers fluked a win over two legs to win their very own (yet to exist) Ashes Cup.
Players over the years are:
Mike De-Bear; Scott Murdoch; Richard Harrison; Eurin Morgan; Gregory Anderson; Jamie Hughes; Warren Eben; Simon Gallington; Ed Davenport; Dan Smith; John Zeng; Michael Pinnock; David Cairns; Nabil Idbibine; Ian Phillipson; Gary Cairns; Alistair Armstrong.
If you’re a parent and you’re interested in playing casual football next year, then please contact BSB who can put you in touch with the organisers (currently Jamie Wong).
New parents arrive all the time, and it’s a great social to get to know new faces (and bad football).
