Music Department - Update

11 September 2015

  • Junior Orchestra
  • Junior Orchestra

Thank you to everyone who has signed up for the various opportunities in the Music Department. Individual music lessons will begin on Monday, September 14th.

Some ensembles have begun rehearsing and others are starting next week as Term 1 ASAs.

There is still time to sign up for Secondary Choir (Tuesdays) and Secondary Orchestra (Thursdays). We are still looking for advanced students to take part in chamber ensembles, such as string quartets and piano trios.

This academic year, there will be several FOBISIA Music opportunities for both primary and secondary students. We will be registering students for the FOBISIA Primary Arts Carnival and the Secondary Choir festival this month.

Please see photos above where our students had a great time in the first Junior Orchestra rehearsal!

Please see Miss Haley Clark, Director of Music, for more details.
