Creative poem writing GK5

German Klasse 5 did a poem project. The students learned a lot about poems and poets and created and designed their own poem books with “Elfchen” (special poems with 11 words), “Haiku” (japanese poem), “konkrete Poesie” and poems with different rhyme forms.

When finished, they presented and explained their work to GK3 and GK4 in two morning sessions. Every child of GK5 was allowed to present and perform their own written favourite poem. There were poems about pollution, sports, winter time, family, friends, vacations etc.  Then they paired with the other class and explained about the writing process and the rules for some poems.

Both classes were very impressed with what they heard and saw, and everyone learned a lot about poems!

Well done Gk5! You are great poets!
