Want to learn more about the interesting culture of China? Our BSB Parents’ Association is presenting a series of China talks this year and have invited China experts to share fascinating insights on different aspects of Chinese history, traditions & society.

Topic of the month: Chinese life in 2016

What is life like for Chinese in 2016? We will discuss social aspects, like education, income (the difference between rich & poor), family (changes in the one-child policy & hukou system), differences between generations and also differences between the regions and the government structure.

Inge Jansen is sinologist and author of travel books on China, Beijing, Shanghai.

Monique Groeneveld is historian and owner of language school China Inside.
