BSB Students Science Trip to CERN, Geneva, Switzerland Sep 2016

This is a fantastic opportunity for a group of 15-20 students in years 10,11 & 12 to visit The Large Hadron Collider (otherwise know as CERN), which is situated approximately 15 minutes outside the city centre of Geneva in Switzerland. The LHC is the world’s largest and most powerful particle accelerator, and consists of a 27-kilometre ring of superconducting magnets. http://home.web.cern.ch/about - this link gives detailed information regarding its global importance.

Date: 28th September to 4th October, 2016

The trip will also include:

  • A group tour visit to the United Nations Headquarters, the Red Cross Headquarters
  • An afternoon visit to one of our Nord Anglia sister schools in Switzerland
  • Visit to Montreaux, boat trip down Lake Geneva and more!
