On Thursday we had a wow Greek day experience! We began by the children making olive crowns for the Olympics and making a banner to support one of the Greek gods and goddesses at the Olympic Games.
The Olympics started off with Mr Allman holding the Olympic torch and delivering a speech. Then we all said the pledge of allegiance together. The children had five different activities at the Olympic games including beanbag throw, quoit throwing, javelin throwing, relay running and spring jumping. We finished our afternoon with the children having a picnic of Greek food joined by out parents.
