This edition’s ‘Artist of the Week’ goes to a selection of Year 9 students who have just completed their End of Key Stage 3 exam in Art.

Working on the theme of architecture, the students had to record and research personal images which they made observational studies of using a range of media. From these studies, the students looked at abstraction and created their own unique personal compositions, which they worked into using a selected combination of media that they had worked with in their original studies.

As you can see, the outcomes are quite diverse and individual but all showing what great talent our students have here at BSB. Very well done to all!
