On Thursday 24th March, after many weeks of rehearsals and singing practises, Year 3 and 4’s production of ‘Once Upon a Time’ was finally unveiled.

The musical extravaganza told the story of Jack and his infamous beanstalk and how he went from a peasant to a farmyard millionaire with the help of a few singing animals. Just when you thought it was all over a messenger ran on to the stage to tell us what really happens after happily ever after! We learnt that Jack grows up, gets married and has one daughter called Red, but everyone just calls her Little Red Riding Hood… From here, Year 4 then told us the classic fairy tale of Little Red Riding Hood.

If you were lucky enough to get a ticket to this sold out performance you would have seen the outstanding work from all children involved. The costumes were stunning and the singing was brilliant. A humorous, musical and very entertaining performance.

Very well done to Year 3 and 4!
