…3,2,1 BLAST OFF! Mission to Mars was our first topic of Year 5 and the children have been working hard to learn and understand more about Space and the solar system.

As an Art project, the children worked in groups to research the history of papier mache, explore methods of using papier mache, and then began designing their own solar systems.

They used excellent collaboration and drew greatly on their knowledge of the planets size, shape and colours to create their final designs.

Parents – keep and eye out for the final products on Seesaw.
