The 9-10yrs, 11-12yrs and 13-14yrs BSB Swim Team grasped the opportunity to compete at the 2021 ACAMIS swimming events held in Suzhou and Nanjing. Travelling out of Beijing for ‘live racing” was a great experience for all the swimmers in two tough ACAMIS swim meets.

Twenty two students competed and swam an amazing 87 personal best times and won 6 Bronze medals and had seven 4th – 6th place ribbons. Movin Zhang, Aiden Li, Alexander Hong, Daniel Kwon, Audrey Orient, Emilia Thorp, Camilla Cheung, Hannah Patuschka, Ivan de Martin, Mirko de Martin, Henry Wu and Newton Xu all won a bronze medal for relays.

All the students who travelled were a credit to the school and performed above expectations, showing determination, resilience and aiming to be ambitious with their swims.
