Practices take place before school, at lunchtime, after school and at weekends, building on the work in curriculum lessons.

We are part of many different sporting organisations and this gives our young athletes a great many opportunities for competition and fun.

Association of China and Mongolia International Schools

For our older students, the highlight of the sporting year is the end of season ACAMIS tournament. Teams travel across China to compete in volleyball, basketball, netball, rugby, swimming and football tournaments, enjoying three days of intense competition and collegiality with other schools from different cities. This is a great learning experience, building teamwork and drawing some outstanding performances from students.

Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA)

Students from Year 5 to Year 8 have the opportunity to compete in the FOBISIA games, these are international sporting events held in Thailand. A team of multi-talented students are selected to compete in football, athletics, swimming and basketball in the U13 FOBISIA games and the Primary FOBISIA games sees the students competing in swimming, athletics, football and tee-ball. Being a member of FOBISIA allows the students to take part in competitive sport, make new friends and the FOBISIA games are a real experience for all those students who are fortunate enough to represent the school.

International Schools Athletic Conference

The missions of the  International Schools Athletic Conference (ISAC) is to provide regular quality athletic competition in a well-structured environment for the students of the ISAC member schools in Beijing and Tianjin. Tournaments include all three major sport seasons: Volleyball, Basketball and Football, either at Middle School (U12/U13/U14) or High School (U19).

Nord Anglia Global Games, China

The Nord Anglia Global Games China is a collaboration between all Nord Anglia schools within the China region.  Schools compete in football at Under 15 and Under 13 as well as basketball and volleyball at the Under 15.  There is also multi-sport events for Under 11 (Swimming, Athletics, Football and T-ball) and Under 13 (Swimming, Athletics, Football and Basketball) during the year.
