Congratulations to 2021 graduate Carmen who got accepted at Stellenbosch University in South Africa to studying a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sports Science. She achieved an amazing IB Diploma score of 40 out of 45 for her IB Diploma.

1.How has studying at BSB helped you achieve academic success/ university acceptance/ personal development?

I was able to study the IB Diploma, which is a highly recognised study programme that opened more international doors for me than the study programme offered in my home country

2.What do you think is special about BSB?

The teachers who are passionate about teaching their subjects

3.Which is your favourite school trip/residentials? What do you like about the trip?

Year 12 Tanzania - I was given to opportunity to gain appreciation for all the things that I am blessed to have. Being in Tanzania, you get to see how people live without water and electricity. By building a school for them, we are enabled to help those who are less fortunate than us.

4.Please describe 2 of your best memories of your time at BSB.

International Day - learning about different cultures and countries

Normal school day, going to lessons, learning, laughing with teachers and friends

5.Please tell us the names of any school events you’ve participated

6.What advice do you have for other students at school?

Enjoy every day, it will be over before you know it
