Arriving in Sept 2018, Mimi was determined and had a goal. She wanted the option to choose any quality university that she felt was a good fit for her academically and personally. She wanted to flourish once she left high school. She had already taken her IBDP at another school but had not got the score needed to achieve her ambition. So she came to BSB to benefit from the high academic standards and supportive atmosphere to improve her diploma score.
Putting in the time and the effort academically, socially becoming a part of the 2019 BSB graduating class, and taking time out to complete internships, Mimi did it all while managing to join the 40+ club with her final IB score of 41. It was this score of 41, a big improvement on her previous best, which allowed her to follow her dream
Heading to University College London (UCL), Mimi is off to continue studying her interest in Electric and Electrical engineering, she also has plans to join the UCL Drama Society in order to explore her theatrical side.
Regarding rankings, UCL has risen two places to rank eighth in the 2020 QS World University Rankings, making it the top ranked institution in London, third in the United Kingdom, and fourth in Europe.
