BSB Ambassadors at the 2018 NAE-UNICEF Summit, New York

Our Student Ambassadors, Deborah and Edward, attended the United Nations High Level Political Forum (HLPF) in New York together with other NAE students. Edward was one of 4 students that made a speech at the HLPF. Deborah was given the role of Report Writers. 

A Perfect IB Diploma Score for BSB!

BSB 2018 Graduate Sunny Hwang achieved full marks - the maximum score of 45 out of 45 on her IB Diploma examinations! IB Director General sends a letter to congratulate Sunny and BSB!

Sunny is studying Bachelor of Medicine at Yonsei University, one of the top medical school in Korea. 

Highest IGCSE Marks in China achieved by BSB students 2018

3 BSB Shunyi students achieved Top in China marks and were named by Cambridge Assessment International Education for their exceptional academic performance in the June 2018 Examination! 

Top IGCSE Student 2018 – Jessica Feng

Jessica achieved the highest average grade of 2018's Year 11 group. She has been at BSB for 4 years, currently studying IB Diploma and is involved in numerous activities. 

Primary Student Council

At BSB we encourage our students to develop their ability to create positive change by involving them in decision making. Our Primary Student Council is made up of representatives from Years 3 – 6. 

Baton Twirling Champion Eva Beranova

Year 10 student Eva shares with us her amazing achievements in Baton Twirling. Eva fell in love with Baton Twirling at the age of 10 and managed to balance her studies with ongoing training, practices and competitions. She has won many awards including the recent WFNBTA 2018 World Championships Twirling Bronze medal. 

BSB Actors and Musicians!

Julienne, David, Ellyza, and MingQi are incredible young people who shine academically, participate in performing arts activities and sport, and are always willing to help with any project. They have all been at BSB for over five years, and "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" was their fourth school production that they have participated in. 

BSB Artist Lisa Iwanaga

Year 12 Lisa was selected as Student of the month by the Art Department for her talented portfolio and commitment to departmental initiatives and drives. She has attended BSB for 3 years and has made her mark in both academics and the arts.

Year 9 Lina Patuschka

Lina is one of BSB’s most positive students. Alongside excellent academics, outstanding effort and faultless attitude, Lina manages to be involved in every event that happens in her past 5 years at BSB. From sports to performance, art events to reading competitions; Lina is always there.
