Emma Jane Langham (3)

PE Teacher, Head of Year 9

I graduated from Brunel University with a Sports Science degree with QTS status in 2010. I have been teaching in a challenging North London school, where I had become Head of Girls PE in my third year of teaching and then Key Stage 5 Coordinator within the PE department in my fourth year.

After working at the school for 4 years, I decided it was time to try something new and I was very keen to try the international experience and have a different way of living.

I enjoy doing a number of different activities in my spare time, from playing sports such as netball and badminton, to eating out at and finding some good bargains while out shopping. In my holidays, I love to travel to new places and in particular enjoy the different countries and cultures of Asia. I have previously played netball for a local club in the UK and represented my university in both netball and badminton.

I am looking forward to working at BSB and living in Beijing and in particular experiencing the different cultures and sights of China and the rest of Asia.
