After I received my BA in Philology in 2008, I studied for one more year specialising in Translation and training to be an English teacher. After that, I taught English as a foreign language to children, teenagers and adults. I obtained a Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) from the University of Cambridge before I moved to Beijing in 2011. I then worked as an EFL teacher in an English training school in west Beijing for two years where I was promoted to the position of Training Manager. In this position, I was responsible for training new foreign teachers as well as maintaining their teaching quality throughout the academic term. In 2015, I completed my Postgraduate Certificate in Education (International) with the University of Nottingham.
Being very passionate about teaching, I always do my best to inspire my students to learn and fulfil their potential. BSB Shunyi is a fantastic school and I am extremely proud to be a part of the team.
I have lived in Beijing since 2011 and I am fascinated by Chinese language and culture. I enjoy learning foreign languages and meeting new people from different cultural backgrounds. I also enjoy travelling to different countries and learning about their history and traditions. I love cooking and I am always on the lookout for new recipes that I can add to my repertoire.
