Angela Dundas

Anglea Frances Dundas

Head of English, English Teacher

I have held a number of positions in schools and business, always associated with English Language and Literature. I graduated with a degree in English Literature and went on to study Administration and Law. My early career was as a Language Specialist in Business and Legal English. I owned and managed a number of language academies for some years in Spain before being offered a position at the American International School in Bilbao as coordinator and curriculum designer for EAL.

I became involved with Cambridge International Examinations with a remit to implement IGCSE examinations into the school which then led to the IBDP. I have spent four years in Sudan as an IGCSE / IBDP Language and Literature teacher before deciding to move to BSB, a decision prompted by the school’s reputation for excellence.

I am from Northern Ireland but have lived in Spain for many years. My children grew up in Spain and having graduated from the IBDP are now back in Ireland studying at universities there.
