Science Teacher

I have a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Villanova University in Pennsylvania, and a Master's degree in Education from Colorado University. I also have a Science teaching qualification from California. Before beginning my teaching career, I worked at Intel Corporation in software design and development. With my background in industry, I hope to bring a unique perspective to my teaching at BSB.

I love teaching and look forward to the ‘lightbulb’ moments when students understand a difficult idea or concept. I particularly enjoy the natural sense of curiosity that students have – the way they ask questions, pose problems, and look at the world.

We have lived in Beijing for many years, and love traveling around China. I have 2 children – both my son and daughter are studying in college in the U.S. We enjoy travelling as a family and playing board games.
