I am from Dublin originally but moved to England to study. I completed a BSc in Archaeology from the University of Bradford. My degree in archaeology focussed on applying scientific methods to problems in archaeology. Following my degree, I completed a physics enhancement course and a PGCE in Secondary Physics at the University of East London. I worked in London five years and gained experience as a Deputy Head of Science teaching a wide range of abilities at KS3 and KS4 including Triple Science Physics.
I had a great five years working in London and feel fortunate to have gained so much useful experience and responsibility in my role as a teacher there. Now I am looking forward to building on these experiences in a new setting. My hobbies and interests include football, mountain biking, running, and travelling to archaeological sites. In 2016, I joined BSB Shunyi and I am keen to get to China to explore, do some cycling and hopefully learn some Mandarin.
