Thomas Hart

Assistant Head of Secondary

My name is Tom Hart I will be joining BSG this year as Head of Secondary Physical Education. I will be moving to China with my wife Emily from Thailand where we have lived for five years and I was previously Head of Secondary Physical Education. Prior to joining the International teaching community, I spent ten years at a Sports College in London holding a variety of roles ranging from Key Stage 3 Coordinator to Faculty Leader of Physical Education.

I am originally from Poole in Dorset, which is on the south coast of England. I completed my degree and masters at Brunel University and St Marys College, Twickenham, respectively. In the sporting arena I have competed to a high standard in Football, Rugby, Cross-country and Athletics and coached Football at two professional club academies.

I spend most of my spare time playing or watching sport. However, I enjoy cooking, watching films and visiting new places. I hope to continue traveling widely, gaining new cultural experiences here in China.
