After weeks of preparation, our teachers and staff welcomed back students to campus last week. We were very eager to see everyone again and kick off the new academic year in person.
Even though our campus looks quite different this year due to important measures that ensure our community’s safety, masks can’t hide our enthusiasm!
We are happy to spend time together again, as well as to welcome our new Principal, Mr. Chris Bromham. Mr. Bomham joins our school with a wealth of international leadership, having previously lead schools in Bahrain, Korea and Dubai.
During this unprecedented year, we have been supported by Nord Anglia Education, our global group of schools. With 68 schools worldwide, we have been able to learn from experiences across many countries, including China, Switzerland and the United States.
Keeping our community safe is a group effort. We all need to collaborate by maintaining social distance guidelines, wearing a mask, and regularly checking to see if we have any symptoms associated with the virus. By adopting these new measures, our students are showing us how they are principled and caring – the very characteristics of the International Baccalaureate.
Together, we will have a wonderful 2020-2021 school year!
