On the 27th of March, Krylatskoe Lower Campus started their epic four-day 'Krylatskoe Colour Run' event in aid of the Heart for Melissa charity.

On the day, students donned themselves with a variety of colourful wristbands to show their support for Melissa. The event consisted of eight different obstacles courses. It tested the students' balance, agility, speed and strength to complete the 180m for Early Years and 260m for Primary students. Two hundred fifty-seven ecstatic, energetic and eager students spanning across 13 classes ran more than 400km. Bodies, faces, ears and hair were covered in a fantastic array of colours.

It was great to see so many students participate in such an important and life-changing event that will change someone's life forever. This was our campus's first-ever Colour Run. I have to say that the entire school demonstrated their resilience and determination to show what a wonderful community we have at Krylatskoe Lower campus.

Some of our brave students still managed to complete the entire course even though there was a gigantic downpour of rain during their run. However, this still didn't affect their mood as most of the students crossed the finish line with a tremendous smile on their face. A great charity event to end the year on a positive note!
