I have a Bachelor of Science in Public Services from University of Plymouth. After leaving university I had a number of jobs including working as a live-in carer for children and teenagers. This is where I discovered my love of teaching. I decided to move to China in 2016 where initially I taught English in Kindergarten and also provided after school tutoring for students from 2 years of age to 14 years of age. Next I taught various age groups in bi-lingual schools in Beijing.
I have spent the first part of last year in Taiwan completing my PGCE from University of East London. I worked in an international school as a Teaching Assistant initially. Once qualified, I taught regular lessons in core subjects from Years 1 – 6 for the majority of the school year. I am extremely excited to be joining the BSB family and cannot wait to meet my new class.
During my time in Asia I have been lucky enough to visit some amazing places and there is nothing I enjoy more than exploring different countries. In my spare time I love watching movies and walking my 2 dogs.
