Commenting on his appointment, Lord Jim Knight said:
“Since starting life in the north of England 50 years ago, Nord Anglia has become the leader in international education. Its approach to personalised learning, innovative use of classroom technology, and its emphasis on teachers’ personal development is outstanding. I look forward to working with Nord Anglia to help further transform teaching and learning in its schools.”
Lord David Puttnam, Chairman of Nord Anglia’s Education Advisory Board and Digital Transformation Committee, said:
“Jim’s insights, global perspectives and passion for education are well known, and his appointment adds even greater depth to our Education Advisory Board. His belief that great teaching transforms learning reflects ours, and we are delighted to have him working with us to pioneer new and innovative ways to help our students develop their love for learning and their future roles as global citizens.”
