Today started off once again to the sound of the guest house gong and a scrumptious breakfast.

We spent the morning at a Taoist temple where the children sketched some of the amazing architecture within the courtyards. We learned that this temple is over 1300 years old and is the oldest temple in PingYao.

It was then back to the guest house to have a Kung Fu lesson from some Kung Fu masters. Even some of the teachers got involved, much to the delight of the children.

It was then lunch time. Once again, the Dengs provided us with enough food to feed an army.

In the afternoon we were visited by a puppet making family, who spent time with groups of children helping them make puppets of their own.

We then had some free time in our rooms before visiting the puppet family business. Where they put on a fabulous puppet show for the children, and allowed each child to have a short turn with the puppets behind the stage screen.

It was then back to our PingYao residence for some well deserved dinner and evening fun, before bed.

9am Please see photos attached.
