This month Year 6 created their own horror films as part of their English Horror Story unit.

Using iPads the children worked in teams to write, film and edit their own horror films, focusing on building suspense and tension.

After the films were made, children moved on to writing their own scary stories, using the techniques they had learnt and building tension throughout the stories.

We celebrated the children’s amazing work in BSB’s first ever Year 6 Film Festival! Parents, children and teachers were invited along to watch the films and voted for their favourites in a range of categories. Everyone was incredibly impressed with the amazing films Year 6 has produced!
