Brand New Opportunities for Our Students

Kirsty Deathe is the Key Stage 2 & Pastoral Leader for the British International School of Chicago, Lincoln Park.

We are excited to be launching brand new opportunities in the school this year for all children to experience, both academic and personal. We are encouraging and developing the mindset of being ambitious in every aspect of the children's thinking and doing. We will be fostering and nurturing all children to go beyond their initial limits and consider reaching further in all areas of school.

In the classroom, this will include delivering lessons that allow all children to go beyond their previous boundaries and feel confident in tackling new challenges and ideas. Personally, the children will be surrounded with support and opportunities to be their best self with numerous roles for them to try and develop and feel a sense of responsibility, further to ones already successful and enjoyed in school by the children.

Children who feel believed in and who believe in themselves will endeavor to try more, do more, think more and know that their best efforts can only deliver and realize their true potential.

It is an exciting time at BISC-LP and, in Key Stage 2, we are all ready for an ambitious and successful year ahead.
