Beyond the Classroom! Compassion Project

April 26, 2018

  • compassion 1

Over our spring break, a number of children participated in an exciting film project at school. In collaboration with a marketing team and film crew, who are responsible for launching a new product, our children planted compassion flowers - a new hybrid flower while speaking on camera about what compassion means to them.

Our students were amazing and blew the crew away with how articulate and thoughtful they were when asked questions like “Who are you planting your compassion flower for? What does compassion mean to you?” and “What would the world be like if people were more compassionate?”

It was clear how our values curriculum impacts our children and encourages them to find their voice and express themselves while reflecting on the world we live in today. Their confidence, adaptability and thoughtfulness really shined throughout the day. Watch their efforts here in the Compassion Project Video.

Congratulations on all the hard word and amazing talent you contributed to the project.  Well done Lily L., Izzy and Ethan L., Brinkley K., Oliver W., Jaya D., Abby S., Avery M., Madison M., Cici F., Alexandra S., Camilla and Blair H., Adi A., Nora N., Max H., Ronen L., Ilana and Charlie S., Francesca J., Sara and Arhaan K., Arya V., and Vikram K.!
