It is with this in mind, that we are pleased to announce that the Parent Student Teacher Association (“PSTA”) will no longer be sponsoring a membership drive. Instead, all parents and caregivers of currently enrolled NB students, as well as all NB faculty, are automatically members of the PSTA.
Additionally, rather that organizing and executing fundraisers, the PSTA will now be focused solely on supporting the incredibly vibrant and diverse NB community of students, parents and faculty. Through the many PSTA volunteer opportunities, parents, guardians and grandparents can further support their children by giving their time and sharing their talents, all the while building friendships with faculty and staff as well as other NB families. We encourage you to participate in whatever way you can and as your schedules permit.
And we hope you will join us at the following upcoming PSTA programs….
Fall Social – 10.26.19 (for the adult members of the NB community)
Homecoming Tailgate Party – 11.1.19 (for the entire NB community)
Harvest Hoedown – 11.8.19 (for the LS community)
We believe that these changes better align with the PSTA’s goals of fostering a warm and inclusive school community and helping to enhance the educational and social experiences of the NB community.
Please continue to check the Eagle Update for details regarding upcoming PSTA sponsored and supported programs. For additional information regarding the PSTA and/or ways in which you can get involved, please contact Abby at pstapresident@nbps.org.
Warm regards,
Bruce Fawcett, NBPS Head of School
