High School Student Government Elections coming soon

Election season is almost here. If your child is interested in joining our school’s High School Student Government there are some important facts that you should know:

- Beginning March 23rd, students can stop by Room 506 or 705 to pick up an application

- All students must get a recommendation from two teachers

- The application requires approval from Mrs.Lynch, the Dean and a parent

- Students must submit their application to Mrs. Amelchenko (Room 705) or Mr. Harreys (Room 506) by 8:30 am on Thursday, April 2nd

- Campaigning begins Monday, April 6th and ends Wednesday, April 15th

- A campaign speech is required and will be given during Advisory on April 8th

- All campaign posters must be removed by 4:00 pm on Wednesday, April 15th

- April 16th - Election Day

- Students who win elections will be required to enroll in the Student Government Leadership class
