Student Artwork Selected for CAMH Exhibit

  • CAMH 2017 Student Exhibit

Tenth grader Elena R. has been recognized by the Teen Council and The Contemporary Arts Museum Houston for her lino printmaking submission entitled Exposure. Senior Gabriela D. is a member of the teen council at CAMH.  Gabriela advertised and encouraged our student body to submit to the 2018 CAMH Teen exhibition (an exhibition created by Houston teen artists) back in October. Gabriela stated, "I would really love to see Village represented here!"

The visual arts department recognizes the competitive nature of this accomplishment and is proud to announce Elena's work will be on public exhibition in the Nina and Michael Zilkha Gallery. The exhibition will be on view at the museum from March 1–June 16, 2019. Her artwork is viewable here, however may not be suitable for all audiences.

For more information view the CAMH Website here.
