Visit From Author Ian Whybrow

We were extremely fortunate to have a visit from Ian Whybrow on Thursday 1st November. He talked to children across Reception and Year 1 about the many books he has written and about his top tips for being an author.

Ian Whybrow

The children were treated to a fantastic re-enactment of Ian’s book ‘Harry and the Dinosaurs say “Raah”! which included a trip to the dentist where all children pretended they were dinosaurs.

Ian then agreed to stay and sign the books that children had bought - a lovely memento of a great day.

All of us at BSKL would like to thank Ian for his time with us which was very much enjoyed by all. I would also like to thank our excellent library assistants, Zuriati Nahim and Nabila Basir for all their hard work in preparation for the event and for organising the book sale.
