Mosul Eye Project

Midori Watabe in Year 7 has been leading on the Mosul Eye Project - collecting books for libraries in Mosul, Iraq, which have been destroyed in conflict.

An international campaign to collect books of any printed type, language and discipline was launched to rebuild and restock the libraries which have been left descimated in Mosul.

Midori has completely led the initiative on her own at BSKL; launching it in assembly, collecting the books and monies and shipping them to Iraq.

Altogether she collected over 100 books for the libraries - well done Midori!
