Philharmonic Winds of Malaysia Workshop and Concert

This Saturday BSKL was lucky to host the Philharmonic Winds of Malaysia in our theater.

The members of the PWM, most of whom are professional musicians and music educators spent the day working with our students. The conductor, Mr. Eric Lee rehearsed the full band and the students also had the opportunity to work with professionals on their instruments in small group workshops. Everyone spent the morning and early afternoon working hard, learning, and also enjoying themselves quite a lot whilst preparing them for the afternoon’s concert. Forty students from our senior school were able to benefit from this educational festival.

1The whole event culminated in a lovely afternoon concert featuring our students. A huge thanks to Kahwoon Lee, a member of the PWM and BSKL’s clarinet teacher  for organising this whole festival. Thanks also to all of our BSKL music teachers and staff, who were in school on Saturday supporting the event.
