Pirates vs Mermaids (ARRGH!)

The children of Year 2 put on two spectacular shows last week for the Year 2 production of Pirates Versus Mermaids.

In their sparkling costumes, they treated the audience to a musical adventure across the seven seas. The children were filled with feelings of nerves mixed with excitement as they waited backstage before the main performance. The audience, however, were blown away by the singing, dancing and acting of the children, who produced a show worthy of a West End stage!

A production like Mermaids and Pirates doesn’t just come about without hours of determination and hard work. Since the beginning of term the children have been learning lines and practising their singing. The final show was a true testament to the teamwork and dedication across the year 2 team.

Well done to Year 2 and a huge thank you to the teaching team, Year 2 parents, Mrs Leng, Mr Tant and of course our resident director, Mr Humphrey.

Thank you to everyone for making the show such a splashing success!
