The B Team Results
Our First game was against Tenby who were tough opposition, we lost the game 6-10 but gained a lot of experience from it. We had some great fielding work from particularly our long fielders, Aalyia Booth and Archer Thomson, showing great distance throwing. In the next two games for the round robin stage we won both games.
Against Taylor's International School KL 8-9 BSKL and KTJ 9-11 BSKL. Both of these games showed a lot of communication between the players, with good levels of focus. Matayas was a great pitcher and last batsman getting all of his players on the bases round with a big strike of the ball. Giselle worked hard on 4th base getting some players out at ‘HOME’. Eric, Jacob and Alex worked hard on the bases receiving great catches on the bases. We then got to play HELP for 3rd / 4th place. What a close game!! HELP got to bat first to our advantage so we knew what score we were chasing. We working consistently hard to get their players out and the game was extremely close throughout, Matayas was last batsman and managed to get all the players around to home.
We won that game 8-7 - giving us the bronze medal.
