One of the Extra-Curricular Activities offered at DCIS is the Hama Beads ECA.
The children use the moulds and beads provided and magically transform them into beautiful and original creations. We often use festivals and school events to inspire themes for each week like Halloween, UN Day and last week we were inspired by the Cross Country events to make our own house badges.
This ECA develops the children's fine motor coordination and artistic skills and also promotes new friendships and team spirit in a non-competitive environment. At the end of a busy school day, Hama Beads ECA is a great way to relax the body and mind while creating fun and decorative items.
