Isabelle Wanjara in 7C is in her third year at BSB and first year of Secondary- and is loving it! She is enjoying the diverse range of subjects that make up her school week, as well as embracing the co-curricular programme: “I’m in the football after school activity and am really enjoying it!” Indeed, Isabelle’s proudest achievement to date was completing a two kilometer race when she was just 7 years old, clearly demonstrating her enthusiasm for sports.
Though only in her second month of Year 7, Isabelle is already demonstrating herself to be an ambitious young lady with big dreams for the future. She has her sights set on getting into a good university “like the University of Edinburgh, or even Oxford!” Isabelle is also wise enough to recognize that this can only be achieved through hard work and determination: “I hope to work my best in secondary school so that I can get into a university like that.”
What impresses Isabelle about BSB is the way teachers challenge and support all students: “I think BSB is special because teachers always push student to go further and out of their comfort zone. That’s a really good thing because I think a lot of students wouldn’t be where they are today without that type of motivation.” We agree Isabelle!
