Nestled in the streets of Dongshan, one of the oldest districts of Guangzhou, Students, parents and staff gathered at the beautiful Kui Yuan Gallery to view the exhibition of 'Canton S'est Vu' to enjoy a glass of wine, some nibbles and to view the postcards designed and made by our students based around the theme 'My Guangzhou.'
The exhibition was proposed by the Zhanlan French Collective and it showcased 30 selected works made by our students and numerous work of artists within the city. Displaying paintings, quick sketches, pen drawings, poems and letters to depict a city that unites us.
The Zhanlan group chose 10 postcards to be put into print including work by Romy Hoffman in Year 7 and Mariana Barradas in Year 8. The postcards are on sale at the gallery now!
