This year, as always, we think it is important to surprise our students with something new, so every month, we organise a theme day in our kitchen. 

Three weeks in, and the school is buzzing with energy and excitement! 

Year 7 have completed their unit on Science Safety and, on Monday, were asked to show their learning by analysing a fictitious set up in one of the laboratories.

The Careers and University Counselling Office is excited to share upcoming visits from several noteworthy international universities.

Year 7 spent some time practicing their motor skills by looking at how many drops of water can fit on a 5 Forint coin. 

In July we, two of our talented pupils, Luca and Flora, went to the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS) in Glasgow to join the ‘Acting for camera’ summer camp course. 

The CanSat competition has become an event providing a unique opportunity for student teams to design, build, and launch a soda can-size satellite (CanSat) designed to meet specific mission objectives.  (ESA, MANT – Education -)

One of our talented young sportsman from Year 8, Martin competed in an international ice-hockey tournament over the weekend. 

In the last academic year, the PTA organised a charity gala evening for fundraising to support the Igazgyöngy Foundation. Igazgyöngy's primary goal is to help poor and underprivileged children. 

We would like to extend a huge thank you to all the students who have been hard at work this week auditioning to be part of this year's school musical, 'School of Rock'. 

Year 7 pupils were introduced to Science safety this week, and after looking over some of the important aspects of this, they were given the task of modelling a chosen rule using Plasticene.

One of our major projects for the summer was a revamp of our Bistro, a popular social hub for our community. The new design and aesthetics have been very well received by our students, staff, and parents. Coupled with that, there’s a completely new menu on offer along with a new managing team. We’d like to thank our operations team for all their hard work in bringing this to life. We welcome you to visit and enjoy our new Bistro

This summer, we successfully completed a kitchen renovation that had been in the planning stages for several years.

We hope you had an amazing summer and are ready to dive into a new school year with enthusiasm.

A fantastic set of IGCSE results for BISB in 2024. Even more so considering this was our largest cohort and it’s been our best set of results for A*-A. Well done to our students and many congratulations.
