Having graduated from BISS in 2022, Joceline is now studying Fashion Design Technology (Womenswear) at University of the Arts London. Joceline reflects on her time at BISS and how her education has helped to create her future.
On Saturday 25 November, The British International School Shanghai, Puxi, in collaboration with Evergreen Homeland, successfully hosted the highly anticipated annual 5K Fun Run. With both Blue Fountain and Obido book companies represented, our students had access to a wide range of new books, catering to all needs and wants. On Saturday 28 October, BISS welcomed over 70 boys and girls to compete in the annual SISAC (Shanghai International School Athletic Conference) Tennis Championship, and we were blessed with weather perfect for a day of tennis!
The team finished the season with a record of 4-3 overall. The players clinched 4th place in the region and earned their place in the SISAC Volleyball Cup Championship, hosted by SCIS Hongqiao on Saturday 28 October. The tournament brought the BISS Lions up against Concordia, DCS Pudong and Wellington. We didn’t claim victory during the event, but the Lions gave their opponents some tough competition.
