Our entire school community is proud to share that our students at The British School of Beijing (BSB) Shunyi have consistently achieved excellent results in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).

• The overall pass rate has now grown for the last three consecutive years at BSB reaching the 96% pass rate that we had this year, this is substantially higher that the 79% global pass rate.  
• The global average for the IB Diploma was 29.29 points and 71% of the students at BSB Shunyi surpassed this, with scores ranging from 30-41 and averaging 34.7, significantly higher than the global average. We are particularly proud of the fact that when we reviewed individual students IBDP results, students at BSB have achieved better than expected when compared with externally bench marked predictions. 
• Our average BSB IBDP score for the past years since we offered the programme remains excellent at 33.5, surpassing the global average score by 13.5%. BSB students’ results have consistently exceeded the global average score each year.
• 54% percentage of BSB students achieved the Bilingual Diploma, an all time high for BSB. This is 32% higher than the global average of 22% and is reflective of the truly international nature of BSB and demonstrates why a BSB education better prepares our students to be global citizens.

IBDP, is a two-year education programme for students age 16-19. The programme is a widely accepted and recognised qualification for entry into higher education and universities worldwide.
